CLOVIS PET PHOTOGRAPHY

Clovis is situated in the Central Valley of California, just a short drive to the mountains and National Parks where you’ll find towering Redwood trees and trails along the San Joaquin river.

In 2023, Val Woodward joined professional photographers around the globe to make a difference for pets in need with 'Tails of the World'. This unique collaborative project celebrates dogs with an annual coffee table book and our latest volume has raised over $65,000 for animal rescue!

Val raised US$850 for Pitty Party Bully Rescue with eight pet photoshoots around Clovis, both downtown and at several of the town's nearby parks (including Woodward Park, Mayor's Park and the Sierra National Forest).

Cinco and Nacho

Cinco: 5-6 yrs Mini Poodle Mix (black/white). Male.
Cinco has been with us since March 2020, right before Covid hit, and has become the most confident (bossy), loving, friendly, too smart, and stubborn handsome boy ever. He was our love & light during some dark Covid days. He is small, mighty and has the fastest zoomies, even with his left hind knee ligament strain.

Nacho: 6-7 yrs Terrier Mix (Tan/Beige). Male.
He is a sweet, very sensitive, loving, still learning, handsome big little boy. He has quickly become the missing piece our family needed.

Olivia

Olivia: 4 years old French Bulldog.
She was a surrendered breeder due to the fact that she has a congenitally compressed spine and has had intermittent bouts of hind end paralysis. She should have never ever been bred to have puppies, but she was and the breeder decided he couldn’t make money from her because she was going to cost him money. So he surrendered her to a rescue…I agreed to adopt her the day she was surrendered. It has been an uphill fight for her to be her healthiest but I’ll give her everything I’ve got for as long as she’s able to fight. She is adored and a treasured gift. I love her with all my heart, have no regrets and would do anything for her. As humans, we don’t deserve these precious beings…I’m honored to be her mom.

Teddy

Teddy: 1.5 years Husky/German Shepherd Mix. Male.
Teddy was roaming on the streets of Reedley, California when Reedley Animal Control came to pick him up. He was adopted then returned and now lives with his forever mama. I can say with certainty that Teddy is living his best life. He is always going on walks, playing with dogs, and splashing around in our pool.

Pantera

Pantera: 5 years Mixed-American Bully, Bull Terrier, Presa Canaria & Bull Mastiff and a beautiful big girl!
Pantera was found by Pitty Party Rescue, in a field after being breed and dumped. She was malnourished and her eyes were infected. No one wanted to adopt an older, big black Bully/Pitty breed so she was with them for almost 2 years because people were scared of her. I had just lost my senior Staffy boy, but she was the right dog for me and my family to help heal from the loss of our boy. We still miss him deeply but she definitely has helped fill that void he left and we already love her dearly.

Dallas

Dallas: 3 1/2, German shepherd/pit bull mix, female.
It was love at first sight and we knew immediately we wanted to adopt her. We took her to the lobby and waited for our turn to do paperwork. A lady approached us and said “I just want to let you know that she was returned this morning from the family that adopted her yesterday, they said she cried all night." I politely told her that it’s normal for a puppy to cry when they are separated from their siblings for the first time and she could cry all night every night and we would still take her. We did just that and never looked back. It was truly meant to be and one of the absolute best decisions we have ever made.

Sonny

Sonny: 7 years old, male long haired chihuahua.
He defies the stereotypical chihuahua personality. He loves people and loves kids. We have many fruit trees in our backyard and he enjoys being outside and eating oranges, figs and pomegranates when in season. He wasn't quite a year old when I took him, and I put in the work to train him and he is now my perfect boy.

Mando and Eva

Mando: 2.5 year old Doberman/Sharpei mix male.
He could've been named "Goofy" because that's his personality day in and day out. He is silly, loves to please, and a huge velcro dog aspiring to become a therapy dog to help his mom in schools. Mando makes our home complete!

Eva: 3 year old bully breed female.
Our most intelligent girl seems to read our minds and steals our hearts everyday. Her favorite activity is being a couch hippo, watching baseball games with her human dad, and loves being a road dog when we venture out. She healed us after the loss of our first dog and has so much love to give everyone she meets.

Mando (Black/Tan) & Eva (Chocolate/White)

Zeus

Zeus: 15 year old pitbull mix. Male.
We had the absolute treasure of being his people for over 13 years. In those 13 years, he was an absolute ambassador for the breed, showing people how great pit bulls can be. He's the reason we started our own dog rescue, specializing in bully breeds. He's the inspiration for Pitty Party Bully Rescue - the dog that started it all. He was around 15 when he took his last breath, and although it's never enough time, his spirit will live on. RIP Zeus.

ABOUT PITTY PARTY BULLY RESCUE

Pitty Party Bully Rescue has been registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit Bully Breed Rescue since 2020. In 2020 we made it official, but we've been doing it unofficially for over 15 years. Our rescue efforts take many shapes and forms, whether it be through doing dog evaluations, fostering, networking, transporting, and ultimately through vetting and adopting out dogs in need. Rescue is multi-faceted and we just try to help how we can and when we can. We are a true "Mom and Pop" operation, as a husband and wife team, running rescue out of our home ranch. We do the utmost to provide all of the dogs in our care with a true home environment, where all dogs get multiple hours a day of human interaction and socialization. Over the years we've been able to help hundreds of dogs, and with your help, we will keep doing so for years to come.
