CHESTER PET PHOTOGRAPHY
Sitting on the border between Wales and England is the town of Chester. Although it is often missed by tourists who drive by in search of the coast, Chester locals (and their dogs) know that they are blessed. They enjoy wild and rugged walks through Hope Mountain Park and Nercwys Forest.
Hope Mountain Park is a stunning park hidden on the top of a mountain just behind the Jonathan Yearsley photo studio. The combination of an old sandstone quarry, lakes, gorse and gorgeous heathers, the location is just perfect for adventurous dogs to burn off some energy, hunt out rabbits and sniff the fresh air.
Nercwys Forest - a working forest that offers miles of walks along fire tracks and under wooded canopies. The combination of perfectly straight paths, trees to hide behind and puddles to muddy your feet in, what more could happy dogs want from a forest location.
In 2023, Jonathan Yearsley joined professional photographers around the globe to make a difference for pets in need with 'Tails of the World'. This unique collaborative project celebrates dogs with an annual coffee table book and our latest volume has raised over $65,000 for animal rescue!
Jonathan raised US$500 for Spaniel Aid with ten pet photoshoots around Chester, England.

ABOUT SPANIEL AID
A group of Cocker and English Springer Spaniel owners and lovers who had become increasingly concerned by the number of these wonderful dogs being offered for sale or, even worse, free to a good home on internet selling sites. Our aim is to advise owners of the dangers of this, help and advise owners who genuinely have to re-home their dogs of better alternatives, encourage people to relinquish to rescue and take into our care any dogs whose welfare we are concerned about.
In October 2016, we became a UK Registered Charity here for the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of dogs, namely but not exclusively Spaniels, who are abandoned, stray or otherwise in need of care and attention. We provide and assist in the provision of rescuing, rehoming and fostering of these dogs and treat and care for them where necessary.
