LONDON PET PHOTOGRAPHY
London has a seamless blend of tradition and modernity, where historic landmarks stand alongside contemporary architecture. The city boasts a rich arts scene, with world-class museums, theatres, and galleries. It was also named one of the most dog friendly cities in the world, with numerous parks and green spaces, dog-friendly public transport, businesses and activities. In 2023, Elena Marchi of Pawtiqe Dog Photography joined professional photographers around the globe to make a difference for pets in need with 'Tails of the World'. This unique collaborative project celebrates dogs with an annual coffee table book and our latest volume has raised over $65,000 for animal rescue! Elena raised $1147 for Underdog International, by photographing nine shoots around London, England.

ABOUT UNDERDOG INTERNATIONAL
Underdog International was founded in 2019, and since then, nearly 1000 dogs have found their forever homes through their efforts. The staggering number of unwanted, abandoned, and abused dogs roaming the streets worldwide compelled the organisation to step in and provide aid to animals in countries lacking welfare laws to protect them. In such places, the absence of funding hinders any improvement, leaving no local education initiatives to foster compassion, no spay and neuter campaigns, and no government support for animal shelters. Though they acknowledge that they can't solve all the problems in these countries, Underdog International remains dedicated to saving lives, one dog at a time, through rehoming. From the outset, the organisation has been instrumental in supporting rehoming efforts in Cyprus, Bosnia, Greece, Mauritius, India, Romania, and China. In addition to their rehoming initiatives, Underdog International also actively works on global projects aimed at fostering a positive relationship between children and dogs. They encourage values like kindness, empathy, resilience, and confidence by running a therapy dog training program in the UK. Through this program, intelligent canines achieve their therapy dog status, allowing them to visit schools and organisations where children benefit immensely from interacting with animals. Always on the lookout for new therapy dogs, the organisation encourages interested individuals to apply on their website. Moreover, they conduct an education outreach program in Uganda, with plans to extend it to schools in Romania and Cyprus. All of Underdog International's projects centre around enhancing the lives of those considered underdogs, emphasising the impact of even the smallest acts of kindness.
