LUNENBURG COUNTY PET PHOTOGRAPHY
Lunenburg town was founded in 1753 and is one of the most historical towns in Nova Scotia. Landmarks include Smuggler’s Cove, a key location for the smuggling of liquor during prohibition in the 1920s and Point Prim Lighthouse, which sits along the cliffs where the Bay of Fundy meets the Annapolis Basin.In 2023, Desiree Nickerson of Born 2 Run Photography joined professional photographers around the globe to make a difference for pets in need with 'Tails of the World'. This unique collaborative project celebrates dogs with an annual coffee table book and our latest volume has raised over $65,000 for animal rescue! Desiree raised $600 for Heart & Soil Dogs, by photographing seven shoots around Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia Canada.

ABOUT HEART & SOIL DOGS
Heart & Soil Dogs is a foster-based rescue running out of the south shore of Nova Scotia. They specialize is assessing and matching each dog to the perfect home so that they will have the best chance at FURever with their new family. I am currently partnering with Heart & Soil Dogs on another project as well and the total raised for them so far in 2023 in $6000 CDN ($4520.00 USD)

"From as far back as I can remember, I have always been drawn to dogs. This passion has continued to grow over the years, so it was only natural to combine it with my love of photography.
