PHILADELPHIA DOG PHOTOGRAPHY
Carol Arscott photographs dogs all around the greater Philadelphia area, and teamed up with Home at Last Dog Rescue for Tails of the World: The Book (2022 Edition). Carol carefully scouted locations that celebrated the history and culture of her local area.
Home at Last Dog Rescue is a group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters and their goal is to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs. Carol Arscott joined professional pet photographers around the world by holding fundraising photoshoots - she photographed 10 local dogs, all adopted from Home at Last Dog Rescue, and raised $1000 in total for the organisation.

Nebula at Gettysburg, PA, USA
Nebula started life in a puppy mill. For whatever reason, no one bought Nebula or her sister. At around 6 months old, another dog bit her and she got a near fatal infection. They finally surrendered her and her sister to Home at Last. The rescue got her the medical care she needed and her new family found her. She lives near Gettysburg. We did her session at Little Round Top on the battlefield.
Rexxy at Philadelphia Magic Gardens, Philadelphia, PA
Rexxy is a sweet boy that was an owner surrender. He hit the jackpot when he found his new mama! We chose Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens for his session. It is an immersive mixed media art environment that is completely covered with mosaics, created by artist Isaiah Zagar.
Hope at West Chester, PA, USA
This former puppy mill mama was very sick when she was surrendered to the rescue. She was extremely underweight and had lost all her hair from her hips down. But her furever family saw past that and through much care and love she is now a gorgeous, thriving girl! We did her session in her neighborhood.
