Caitlin J. McColl with a camera

Caitlin J. McColl is a world-renowned pet photographer, author, and passionate advocate for rescue animals. With over 15 years of experience capturing the unique spirit of dogs, she has dedicated her career to using photography as a force for good.

In 2015, Caitlin founded Tails of the World™—a global collective of pet photographers on a mission to make a difference. What started as a simple idea—to create beautiful fundraising books for rescue organisations—has grown into an international movement, raising over $170,000 (and counting!) for pets in need.

Beyond her work with Tails of the World™, Caitlin runs Ragamuffin Pet Photography in Australia, where she and her team specialise in natural, heartwarming portraits of beloved pets. She is also the host of Focused on Time, a podcast helping photographers streamline their businesses and reclaim their time.

When she’s not behind the camera, Caitlin can be found reading a good book or pottering in the garden with her two little boys, her rescue dog Maple, and her bearded dragon Puff.
