CHESTER PET PHOTOGRAPHY

The small, rural town of Chester was settled in 1692. It is located on the hillside of Connecticut River and has a number of lakes, waterfalls and hiking trails. Lisa Gaudio photographed at the town’s local park to raise funds for Homeward Bound CT. Homeward Bound is committed to fi nding homes for the thousands of dogs dying in kill shelters across the country every year.

In 2023, Lisa Laureano of Lovelee Paws joined professional photographers around the globe to make a difference for pets in need with 'Tails of the World'. This unique collaborative project celebrates dogs with an annual coffee table book and our latest volume has raised over $65,000 for animal rescue! Lisa raised $600 for Homeward Bound CT, by photographing three shoots around Chester, Connecticut USA.

Lovelee Paws started because I wanted to combine my love for dogs and my love for creating. I was just starting out my career at a dog daycare-- since then, I have 10+ years of petcare experience-- and I wanted to do something special for clients. My first photoshoot was a precious end of life session, and I fell in love with pet photography. I fell in love with the process, the outcome, and every single dog, cat, bunny, hedgehog... any pet I was asked to capture. Lovelee Paws is simply this: photography for pets and their people. I capture the candid love between pets and their humans

Caitlin J. McColl is the multi-award winning artist behind Ragamuffin Pet Photography, author of five dog-filled books and founder of the Tails of the World Collective. She lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband, two boys and a scruffy family of rescued animals. She’s a bit of an introvert, a lot of a dork, and so very passionate about making a difference for pets in need.
