LAKE COUNTY PET PHOTOGRAPHY

Just twenty miles east of bustling Cleveland is peaceful Lake County. Situated on the shores of Lake Eirie (one of the five Great Lakes of Northern America), Lake County is decorated with miles of dog-friendly walking trails, historic bridges that cross quiet streams and towering maple trees. It’s a fantastic place for dog lovers - the town of Concord even has a hybrid bar/dog park, where the humans can grab a drink whilst their furry friends run and play.

In 2023, Kristine Lang joined professional photographers around the globe to make a difference for pets in need with 'Tails of the World'. This unique collaborative project celebrates dogs with an annual coffee table book and our latest volume has raised over $65,000 for animal rescue!

Kristine raised US$470 for Neighborhood Pets with eight pet photoshoot in the beautiful woods and parks of Lake County.

Duke

Duke is a 7 year old chocolate lab who adores the water in all forms. He also enjoys hanging out with his people, people in general (especially when they play or give good pets), and his "babies" (stuffed toys).

Elsa Tiffany

Elsa is a one-and-a-half-year-old Morkie who likes to be around people, and enjoys daycamps, travel, and shopping.

Enzo

Enzo is a 5-year-old border collie mix rescued from Pulaski County, KY and adopted from Canine Lifeline in NE Ohio.
He loves going on his daily long walks, enjoys car rides, and gets excited training. He also loves cuddling in bed, and anything involving treats. His training has paid off to the extent that he is an Intermediate Trick Dog with the AKC and is also learning Rally.
He goes everywhere and does everything with his person that he can. He is officially Best Friend, adventure buddy, protector, and partner in crime.

Havel and Regen

Regen is a two and a half year old Long Hair Black & Tan Piebald Miniature Dachshund. She is in agility and scent work, and likes to get ribbons from these events. She loves to chase squirrels, and go camping and kayaking. She is very lovable!
Havel is a seven and a half year old Long Hair Red Dapple Miniature Dachshund. She considers herself to be the protector of the family. She loves to chase squirrels and chipmunks, go camping and kayaking and must be at our side at all times.

Red and Banjo

Banjo is a 14-year-old tricolor old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He's getting up in years, so his eyesight & hearing are not as keen as they used to be, but he doesn't need either one to snuggle up with mama on the couch.
Red is a 13-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Although he's very affectionate, he tends to lose all self control and bark his head off if he sees another dog.

River and Ruby

River is a 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He likes to bark, is very excitable, and has a hard time focusing.
Ruby is a 14-year-old pug who may hard of hearing, but she is plenty energetic and happy.

Shrimp

Shrimp (full name Mystic’s Taste of Shrimp N’ Grits) is a nine-month-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who hails from the little state of New Hampshire. He’s working on agility, dock diving and conformation right now but his favorite thing is to play fetch!

Stanley

Stanley is a 3 year old bichon. He loves agility, flyball, and hanging out with his family. Having begun his official modeling career showing boutique items of clothing on the catwalk and online, he picks things up quickly, and holds himself with pride.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Kristine founded Thoughtful Images during the days of film (gasp!), although it’s now fully digital. Although begun as an all-around portrait and wedding studio, Kristine found that her years of running a successful pet-sitting service in the 90s made pet portraits her faves. Ten years of working with a variety of pets, from everyone's favorite dogs and cats to the more unusual 4-foot-long iguana (who needed a daily walk to the bathtub) makes photo sessions fun and relaxing.
