Angela Schneider is the Chief Memory Maker at Big White Dog Photography in Spokane, Washington. Her work focuses on celebrating dogs at epic locations and in 2022 she joined professional pet photographers around the world in raising over $20,000 for animal rescue with Tails of the World: The Book (2022 Edition).
Big White Dog Photography supported Spokane Humane Society, by photographing dogs at six beautiful locations around Washington and Idaho, USA. Since 1897, the Spokane Humane Society has acted as a refuge for animals in peril by providing care, shelter, and placement for tens of thousands of lost, neglected and unwanted animals. Throughout the years it has served many functions and now focuses on the care and placement of companion animals.

Desi and Bella at Dishman Hills Conservation Area in Spokane Valley, Washington, USA
In just a couple miles of hiking, you can feel like you're on top of the world at Dishman Hills ... and that's without ever leaving Spokane Valley. The views at Eagle Peak and Nimbus Knob are exquisite and the perfect place for epic portraits of dogs.
Ollie at Saltese Uplands Conservancy Area in Liberty Lake, Washington, USA
Saltese Uplands is an incredible spot to spend a few hours hiking in the Inland Northwest. The basalt rock outcroppings are a great place to sit and drink in the incredible views of the Selkirk Mountains. You'll also catch the eagles and hawks native to Eastern Washington soaring above and looking for their next meal in field mice and squirrels.
Stella at Plantes Ferry in Spokane Valley, Washington, USA
Hop on the Centennial Trail at Plantes Ferry and go for a *long* stroll through Spokane and Spokane Valley. The trail covers 40 miles from Lake Spokane to the Idaho border and much of it runs right along Spokane River. Coyote Rocks is a popular spot, especially for dog lovers. The swimming hole is a perfect place to cool off in the dry summer heat.
